Hello guys, I wanted to ask can a hall effect detect any changes when a magnet is rotating on its own axis? Let's say i attach a magnet with the stepper motor, when the stepper motor is rotating with the magnet, will the sensor detect any changes in voltage?
As long as the magnet moves to and away or past it, it should work. You could also use a reed switch for that function.
