Handle wiring with external power supply

Hi everyone,
i working on a basic project involving arduino uno and a led strip.
my setup looks like this for now :

and i would like to insert a hc05 module in this setup to be able to control the led strip.
my question is simple, i know where to put the rx and tx wires (tx and rx pins in arduino) but where do i connect 5v and gnd pins of hc05 ?
thank you

That is almost certainly the wrong answer, especially if you are expecting to print anything to the Serial monitor, and you may also have problems uploading code

To pins marked 5V and GND on the Uno or if they are all occupied then jumper them over to the breadboard to provide more connections

It is better to use software serial and attach RX and TX to any other digital pin, rather than the RX and TX of the Arduino.

Please note that a HC-05 bluetooth module cannot connect to an iPhone.

is HC-06 suitable with ios ?

No, the HC-06 isn't either. These modules are compatible with an iPhone: " CC2541 module (different versions are called: HM-10, SH-M08, AT-09, or JDY-08)."

thank you all for your answers, so far i have managed to connect the hc-05 to the uno, and been able to power on/off a led with an android app. now i am still stuck, i really have no idea how i can integrate the hc-05 (and it's 4 pins) to this electric circuit
