Happy Holidays / Seasons Greetings

For all the geeks who have their priorities properly focused on the Forum

PS I noticed a few Threads where the wimps said they couldn't progress their projects until after Christmas - families and stuff.

Seasons greeting from me as well,

I can't get on with projects because stuff is still in the mail system >:(

Merry Christmas everyone, just got home, (9:10pm Christmas Day) from second Christmas Dinner of the day. (First with new grandson.)

30C now but maxed out to 33C this afternoon.

I here on computer cos I'm the only one that can remember all the re-runs on the telly this evening that were on last Christmas.

Tom...

Merry Christmas to all. Just waiting for the family to get up, then I'm gone.

Merry Holidays to all of you too!

I look at the holidays as time off work so I can do important stuff, (like electronics.)

Merry Christmas to everyone and thank you for all your help through the year. I really appreciate this forum and am grateful for the time and effort you all put into it.
Tom

And thanks to the moderators who give their time to make this community a success.

"And lo! Ben Adhem's name led all the rest"

Biscuits! That sure sounds good. I understand they are not made in other places in the world, there is just no equivalent. We have biscuits here in Texas. Buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy.

I received an Arduino Duemilanove for Christmas.

Merry Christmas.

And did everybody get what they wanted out of the holiday?

My seven week old grand son is healthy and happy:

Last week, I went on a trip to Kalamazoo, Michigan to experience a white Christmas. My girlfriend gave me an iPhone 7 right before our trip, to replace the LG flip phone I've been using. And under the tree this morning, was a red t-shirt, a dozen pairs of socks, and a coffee mug with hundreds of sig figs of pi printed on it. For Christmas dinner, we ate freshly cooked corned beef and vegetables, and drank prosecco.

Congrats Chris, my grandson arrived about the same time.

Likewise all healthy and well.

Arrite Tom! The little guy looks like he's full of curiosity!

Happy holidays!

Not my creation or my son's but still awesome

The respective department calls it the Chemis-tree!
Even as a non-christian/chemist, I can name a few things off the tree, such as white angle made with a flask stuffed with cotton balls, flying with folded filter wings, a shining star made with some pom pom materials and half a dozen glass stir rods. Everyone has a reason to celebrate!

To even up the sexes a bit, here is a picture of my granddaughter, Lily, also born around the same date.

She's beautiful Henry.

@Henry_Best

Lovely baby Henry, and in the best state, ASLEEP, NOT CRYING and looking beautiful.

When they finally fall asleep, they are just as beautiful as when they were babies, even if they're already 4 years old. "Long" sigh!

Be careful. In 36 years time you will wonder how it all flew past

Hi,
I married into a ready made family, 8yo she was then, now she is 28yo, a mother and still at times acts like a 8yo.

I always say that they're like angels....when they're asleep!
