Hi,
I have been trying to interface my Duemilanove with a Sony Ericsson T650i through USB, so i may send AT commands to it. First for testing and later maybe for SMS, but for now i would be happy if i could just get "AT" to work.
The T650i has a USB interface with a DCU-65 data cable (DCU60=DCU-65+ferrite beads). But i'm not quite sure how/what hw to use for the interface - mainly due to lack of knowledge/experience.
I have two working test setups :
PC-DCU65-T650i (AT works fine through Putty).
PC-USB-Arduino-serial-SparkFun FTDI-USB-PC (characters may be sent both ways).
So i would have liked to use my SparkFun FTDI 5v (FT232R based), but it seems like the FTDI it will only operate, when it has its USB connected to a PC (i'm guessing a USB Host). So maybe wrong choice of hw ?
Any clues/hints/suggestions ?
