Has Anyone Else Had Their Posts Deleted????

My post from yesterday, describing my first successful upload on Arduino was deleted. It also described a security problem...

My post described how I had to use Windows 7 (8.1 , XP, and 10 did not work). I also had to allow my Windows firewall, and my standalone firewall allow access.

I then had my firewall inform me of a breach of my system by something trying to write to my arduino create file while submitting this post.

Has anyone else seen this? Did I post something incorrectly??

No idea, is it in one of these?

It was successfully posted because I got an email about it:

A new topic, 'MY FIRST SUCCESSFUL UNO DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!' by ricronkhite, has been made on a board you are watching.

You can see it at
MY FIRST SUCCESSFUL UNO UPLOAD!!!!!!! - Website and Forum - Arduino Forum

The text of the topic is shown below:
I had to go to a windows 7 computer, allow access to Arduino on the Windows Firewall and the AVG firewall on Google Chrome too. I then had to reinstall the driver.

I could not get windows 8.1, 10, or XP to run it!

Good Luck to you as well!

But now that link says:

The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.

Did you make any edits to the content afterwards or was that the full post?

Sometimes the moderators make mistakes. They're trying to deal with tons of spam, cross posts, etc. and most are volunteers so it's quite understandable that a legitimate post occasionally gets deleted.

I noticed it because I was trying to reply that you probably wouldn't need to jump through all those hoops if use the real Arduino IDE instead of the Arduino Web Editor.

Quite sure that it wasn't there when I posted, but pert's link now takes me to your post and the link I posted also shows it.

I was doing a reply to that too but as I hit post it went south on me LOL.
