By this i mean one which the arduino would connect to pins soldered into the pcb. Can't seem to find one anywhere online.
Are you referring to a MEGA shield type board? Something like this from AdaFruit
But just the board outline and connectors?
Import the Eagle layout for the ArduinoMega2560 into Kicad and use that.
Yes a footprint like this which can be added to a pcb such that the arduino slots on top of the pcb into the pins, which will be soldered on. Wanted to check if anyone had made this themself before defining the spacing between the holes myself. The holes in the middle aren't necessary for what im trying to achieve (only the the ones which are connected to the pins, which will have tracks coming off them) but this won't have an effect on the functionality if they are there.
I had tried that however it seemed the eagle file was just the actual arduino itself, not something it can slot into. I'm fairly new to kicad so i could have just done this wrong.
