HC-05 AT Commands Not Returning OK

Hello,

I'm trying to set up an adruino uno and hc-05 to be able to upload sketches via bluetooth. I've been using

http://www.joshuanewell.com/electronics/arduino-programming-via-bluetooth

as a plan, however when I reach the point where I provide AT commands instead of returning OK I receive ˇs until a new AT command is input then the ˇs restart.

Example(copy pasted)

AT ¯ˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇˇ

I would love any help that could be provided.

It might be a wiring problem. I don't think that guy knows what he is doing, and you might get a better deal here.

So I have those steps and come up with

BT STATE = ´´™†™'ï™FU b•µäàçÜœßÜÖ

I do have the serial monitor set to both NL & CR and 9600 baud.

would the problem be something like this post?

I'm using IDE 1.6.0 and OSX 10.6.8.

Any ideas?

I got the AT commands to work but now when i get it set up to upload a sketch via bluetooth I get the error

programmer is not responding avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00

up to attempt 10.

The garbage you got was probably because you were not working at the AT mode default speed 38400. I can't comment about uploading via bluetooth, but it is just possibly the same problem.
