I connected an HC-05 to my Arduino mega 2560 (RXD-TX,TXD-RX,VCC-5V,GND-GND) but it doesn't show on my phone, it doesn't light up and it doesn't listen to AT commands.
any help?
An HC-05 only needs supply (5V and GND) to show up on the smartphone. Is it new?
It's a half year ago that I bought it. yes, it's connected to power and ground.
Fine. It should show up on your smartphone - look for it in the list (Settings / Connected devices - eligible for Pairing).
If it doesn't then it's broken or it's been messed with.
