Hello everybody!
I am very new to Arduino, I know the basic syntax but I can't seem to figure this out, I accidently entered slave loop mode on my HC05 (AT+ROLE=2), and now I can't seem to get our of it! Whatever I enter in AT mode is just ehoed, I tried AT+RESET and AT+ORGL, and they just got echoed back. Any help would be highly appreciated!
If you do some trawling, I think you will find other people with this problem. If you can check the version, you might find it is a v3. They are not exactly fakes, but are pretty useless with AT commands. It seems that they are fine so long as you don't try to reconfigure them.
I've looked literally everywhere in the net, and yes it is a fake. But all the AT commands were working properly (change name password and role), but when I put it on role=2 which is slave loop, (which I've found exists on every module), I couldn't seem to get out of it.

Contradiction, the ROLE is an AT command, and it isn't woking properly. I'm sure that has happened just a few months ago.
Excuse me if I misphrased! What I meant is, before AT+ROLE=2, everything was working fine
OK.
I won't ask why you put it in ROLE 2, but I'm pretty sure a similar situation arose quite recently, and I'm also pretty sure it is related to HC-05 v3. I'm afraid I can't remember what the outcome was - if any. It may be that the solution is - lesson learned, chuck it out, and get another.
