HC-12 communication

There are some doubts i have about using the hc-12 communication module.

1.Is it fast enough to use for drones or aeroplanes?
2.Is there any specific advantage in using this?
3.Is there is good tutorial of programming ti for a drone or a boat?

Thanks.

is the range to the aircraft fixed, or variable? because the useful serial bit rate drops with distance, so if you go a little too far away, the link is gone. instantly, entirely, and irretrievably.

which means, to insure you don't lose control, you may have to drop the bit rate to a point where the controls are sluggish

and you are responsible for the outcome if your aircraft goes out of control, and these things always end up with a crash into a vanload of nuns taking special needs children to the petting zoo.

Aircraft radios are AM for a reason: if the signal level drops, you can still make out signal through the noise. if they used FM the signal would cut off completely with no warning.

I would not be the volunteer to find out how well that worked, when hobby shops have proven solutions available.

as my flight instructor used to say: "you go ahead. I'll watch"

Check the speed (and range) you need, and how it compares to the specifications of the HC-12.
