I need to measure the height of the flood level and I would like to measure in millimeters for a more accurate response of height. For more accurate use, I would measure the humidity and temperature over DHT22 that I would consider when calculating the distance.

Is there such a thing? New_ping only works in centimeters, I didn't find anything in millimeters.

Did anyone measure in millimeters?

You have the source of New_ping - you could modify it to return millimetres instead of centimetres.

Whether or not the sensor is capable of resolving to millimetres is another issue. (Wavelength in air of a 40kHz signal is about 8.5mm)
