This doesn't exactly seem to be display related topic but I can't find a more relevant board:
I am writing documentation that concerns devices using HD44780 displays. I downloaded a free windows font called HD44780. Here is an example with this font in MS word:
Pretty close to the real deal, right? Just don't have to take a picture of my display and cut to size any more.
The problem: I don't know how to make custom characters in this windows font. I would like to use a windows font editor to add some custom characters but a google search popped up 11M hits, more than arduino
Can someone suggest one free windows font editor for me? Thank you!
For anyone writing documents about their projects with an LCD this will be perfect. You know how difficult it is to get a clear reflection free shot at a display!!
