HDD repair - external sensorless BLDC driver.

Guys!

got a big problem. My hard disk drive fell down and it PCB is damadged. Fortunatelly PCD is damaged in motor driving section only - some traces fell off, some minor elements like Rs and Cs... HDD connected do PC won't start. I have to make a circuit to drive the motor extarnally.

So first thought is arduino. The plan is: arduino driver hooked up to the motor and after HDD power up arduino should spin up the discs in preset time up to HDD rated rpms (5400rpm).
BLDC shoul be sensorless as all i have is 3 pins from the motor.

If you're asking why all this - i MUST copy all the data from this HDD:/

Tried to find some easy low power solution but somehow can't find suitable one.

Got some ideas?
Thank you.

Send HDD to a "recovery agency" who MIGHT manage what you desire

I don't think you understand how hard drives work. You can't just spin the platters and hope.

Fix the PCB?

If you can get another drive and swap the circuit board over you might have some success; but even then bad sectors are stored in firmware during drive build and so you might still lose some data .
