I am looking for some sort of breakout I can use to tap into existing pins. I have a circuit and it has standard header pins sticking up for a connector. What I need is something to place that will allow me to still connect the original rectangular connector and add in a second one that is merely recording voltages of each pin. I am reverse engineering the DRO on a milling machine in order to add in a way to datalog it.
This is a sketch of what I imagine something like this might look like. Does anything like this exist? If not I will just solder wires onto the existing PCB but I wanted to be minimally invasive if possible.

Thanks, but the location for this isn't on the arduino, its a 6 pin rectangular/header inside the case of the DRO, then I will lead a second cable to the outside and connect it to the arduino.

Maybe you can add wires to the legs of a long-pin female, stick that in your header, and then plug whatever else in the top.
