Heat & Moisture Protection

I'm currently working on a project to add some automation to my Francis & Francis X1 Espresso Machine (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Francis-X1-Ground-Coffee-Machine/dp/B00004RBRE)

Just wondering how to go about protecting the electronics, and wiring from heat/moisture.

At the moment I'm thinking that I should build an enclosure for the electronics, that has some kind of insulation.

Any tips/advice very gratefully received!

André

Yes an enclosure is best.
The other alternative is a spray on conformal coating, this will stop moisture.

You can use Lexan and superglue if you know how to do it.
