Hello guys it doesnt matter anymore

Hello dear ones,

I would like to build an e-rollator that can also decide autonomously whether I want to drive or not. I.e. in a case study, I am accelerating, but don't want to anymore, but due to cramps in my hand or the like, I can't take my foot off the gas.

Unfortunately, I don't know too much about how to do this and I need your help. Such an e-rollator is also very expensive and that's why hardly anyone gives me any information about it.

I had the idea that you would first have to push something yourself so that the motor would help. I've copied this idea from e-bikes.

Can anyone help me with this? I would also be happy to reward someone financially for competent help with this project.

Thanks a lot
Vanny

Vielen Dank
Vanny``

Sorry, but my personal liability insurance would not cover helping with such a project.

This project has some serious safety issues.
If an elderly person falls, he/she is likely to break an arm or leg.
I think this really should be done by professionals...

And now you know why they are expensive. To pay for the liability insurance necessary to sell the device.

i know
but its a project nor for using

I'm not advocating for this idea, but you could look up the dead man safety style switch used particularly in robotics. If the switch is not pressed, or pressed too hard, it stops function.
