I want to deal with the temperature sensor PT100 k-type. I have 2 wires and I want to connect them to the MEGA2560 pro board. But I've seen most people connect through a module called the MAX31865. However, one of my acquaintances said that you can check the temperature by connecting the PT100 directly to the Arduino board without using it.
It is possible to simply check the temperature using the LM35, but for me, this technology is a must-have skill now or in the future.

PT100 is a platinum resistance temperature sensor.
K type is a type of thermocouple.
Those are 2 completely different technologies.
