HELP!!! 120 hour countdown timer

hi guys,

I am just starting out with arduino and have very little skills,

I was wondering if anyone may be able to help me out on how to make a 120 hour countdown timer, with the the time remaining coming up on the standard lcd display. also the time would have to be able to be paused. (i have an UNO board)

How would you wire the project & is there a template for the code???

Your time and help wound be greatly appreciated…
Cheers

What do you mean by "the standard lcd display" exactly? No Arduino board comes with a display.

Do you mean a "LCD Keypad Shield" you can just stack on an Arduino UNO such like this one which also comes with 5 buttons?

i have attached a photo of the screen i want to use to the original post

cheers

a google search comes up with several builds exactly as you describe

Wiring diagram and code for that type of LCD can be found in the tutorial on this website.

Do you have that up and running so far?
