yes sorry i was woundering how to add another pin for control

the current sketch was set up to control pin 8 over the wifi server im looking to control pin 7 as another led but cant seem to find where in the code it refrences pin 8 so that i might copy it to control pin 7

i think i found it... i would have to set another aREST "name" so i beleave along with // Create aREST instance
aREST rest = aREST();

i could add
aREST light = aREST();

?????

yes its the whole code besides the includes of course

because it does also change
rest.set_name("Flashmode");
rest.set_id("1");

i see, thanks for trying

You seem to be on the right track:

// control pin
const int flash = 8;
const int bright = 7; //need help adding this pin to sketch

// in setup():
  // Define relay pin as output
  pinMode(flash,OUTPUT);
  pinMode (bright, OUTPUT); //  make the added pin an output

// in loop():
// make it do something - when? I don't think you've said.
digitalWrite (bright, HIGH);
// &
digitalWrite (bright, LOW);

theres an html part to this as well for the on off switch i now relize its more complicated then just adding it to the arduino code......is it possible anyone here is familer with html as well??

turns out i just needed to add this

// Relay pin
const int relay_pin = 8;
const int light = 7;

void setup() {

// Initialize Serial
Serial.begin(115200);

// Set name & ID
rest.set_name("relay_control");
rest.set_id("1");

// Define relay pin as output
pinMode(relay_pin,OUTPUT);
pinMode(light,OUTPUT);
