Project: Arduino Nano V3.0 ATmega 328 based Nixie Clock.
Requirements: Final coding for release of clock.
The PCB’s and hardware for the clock have already been designed and tested using a modified code by Chris Gerekos (Hazardous Physics), this code displays Time / Date and includes a Cathode poisoning.
The time and date are initially set in the code shortly before uploading it to the Nano, once the code is running you can adjust the time (but only advancing), there is no code for setting the date or adjusting the time backwards.
In the design of the PCB, 5 switches have been added, these are connected to inputs A0 – A4 respectively of the Nano, currently 2 of these switches are used to set Hours and Minutes (advancing only) once the clock is running.
What is now required is someone willing to work with me in writing the final code that will allow the setting of the time (Hrs, Mins, Secs) and date (Day, Month, Year) using the 5 inputs once the clock is working.
