Help Arduino circuit connection

i am beginner for Arduino UNO R3, i have silver open connector 'Image2 silver connector.jpg' which has 2 open wire ended black and red which is consider as 0 and 1, but i don't know which one is consider is 0 and 1 either black or red (means 0 is Red or Black i don't know).

also these 2 wire red and black need to connect with Arduino Uno 'Image 1 Arduino UNO.jpg' in port 0 and port 1, kindly help to identify which wire is 0(black or red) and connect to which port for e.x red connect to 0 or 1, kindly help, Thank you for suggestion/help.

0 and 1 are meaningless to us.

It appears you have a power connector assembly.

The round jack supplies power (5V?) to the USB connector.

What are you trying to to?

Yes larryd right, round jack supplies power (5V). it has 2 open wire Black and Red which will connect to Arduino UNO R3 Controller. just want to know read wire connect to which IO number? and black wire connect to which IO number? this only concern.

If you need to power your UNO with 5V, you can connect an external regulated 5V supply to the UNO’s 5V and GND header pins.

Still not sure what you are trying to do.

my application is serial port communication and getting scale/weight from scale controller. see image Arrow 3 indicate silver connector jack supplies power (5V) which got power from Adapter. from silver connector jack there are 2 Open wire black and red which connect to Arduino UNO R3 controller as Arrow 4, and Arduino UNO R3 also connect to PV via USB cable.

Arrow 2 is scale controller which connect to scale(Arrow 1) and scale connector also connect to silver connector jack supplies via Ethernet cable. this is about setup of all component.

But here main question is, from Arrow 3(silver connector jack supplies) has two open wire Black and Red which is need to connect in Arduino UNO R3 (Arrow 4), we just want to know Open Black and Red wire from silver connector jack supplies connect in WHICH IO PORT in Arduino UNO R3?
