The radio was part of the frizzy. I assumed he was planning on using it as he was talking remote control. This was to forestall future problems. I do not normally watch videos.

Do not supply power to the servo from the Arduino. Find a suitable power supply.

The 8vdc power supply in your image probably has an RCA jack for the Arduino Power Jack and a second set of wires going to the L298. You can see a similar drawing on this web site
