Yeah, and it takes only 2 digital pins and one analog pin to read the value,
the ic needs like 3 caps, and a couple resistors, but I've fit it all on a .5x.5" pcb before no problem
ebay has them pretty cheap in dip form, but if you want soic its like 7$ from a website
