Hello, I am a beginner and my question is about the on board LED that is labeled (L) about what its purpose is and why sometimes when there is power to the arduino that the orange led will sometimes blink very faintly then real strong on other blinks? THANKS
It's purpose is to have something to play with, e.g. blink.
You have to explain what you mean by "orange led will sometimes blink very faintly then real strong on other blinks". Do you mean that you upload different codes and that behaviour changes? If so, show an example of the code that blinks real strong and an example of the code that blinks faintly.
Just in case, when posting code, use code tags
** **
** **
paste your code after that
** **
** **
If you mean something else, please elaborate.
What model Arduino board is it, LED L is usually the LED connected to I/O pin 13.
There are two LEDs usually close together that flash when you upload a program, or use serial communication.
A picture of you board would help.
It is the arduino uno, when ever i have the arduino plugged in the (L) lights blinks sequentially but some of the blinks within the sequence are very feint led blinks.
