Help for a student

Hey,

I need to do a project for my study, and I´m a newbie to Arduino. I need to have 2 LED Displays, they are 3 Digits and 7 Segment ones, they are both 60 cm away from each other. How can I implement these? Do I need every time a new breadboard? And is a Decoder a must-have?

Thy so much

Hello knuettelk,
Welcome.

It doesn't work like that here. The way it generally works is you teach yourself using the many tutorials in the IDE and on this web site, then when you get stuck with something you ask for help and people will try to help you. This is your project and your course of study, you will be the one with the certificate at the end, not us. You have to do the work. If you want our help we have to believe you are trying your best and have got stuck. The way you have asked suggests you have not even started, let alone tried your best.

Thank you.

So, as Perry has pointed out, there is a lot of basic work to be done here and you have frankly, given the absolute minimum of detail.

You need for a start, to explain two things.

Firstly, give the complete text of your assignment.

Secondly, explain what materials you are expected to use, is it an Arduino - do you have a choice of which? Can you use any devices or how are you restricted? From where are you expected to obtain them? You cite a display from Radiospares - can you use any parts from them?

The proper way to do this is to use one or two MAX7219.
