My wife tells me I snore. Being a gadget maker I think I can solve this.
It will involve an Arduino, sound detection sensor, and some sort of silent wake up device...I'm thinking a shocker delivered via small electrodes taped to me.
I'm not sure how to create a shock. I'm thinking it will involve capacitors and a transistor...maybe a step-up transformer? I don't really know.
Maybe a tiny vibration motor would be more reasonable.
No need for an electronic solution. Just tell your wife to slap you in the face when she detects a snore. Pure analog solution and operate in deep sleep mode (runs only when there's detection)
A much better approach, and much, much healthier for both parties, is to go to a sleep clinic and have the proper CPAP machine prescribed. They really do work.
