Hey guys i'm new to arduino.
I'm trying to make a flashgun but i'm stuck with the code.
i just want it to blink once every time a button is pressed.
like.....button pressed(once) > BOOM flash(once )(even if the button is still pressed)
Actually i'm making ironman repulsor arm so when the hand is held in proper way it will flash a bright white light .

are you charging a capacitor to pulse the light?
it is good to know that someone is working on improving the capabilities of our superheroes.
Google: 555 timer, One-shot, Monostable Multivibrator.
Suggest you go find (not easy nowadays) a photographic film developing shop and ask them for the hulks of a few disposable flash cameras. They contain a flash circuit powered by a 1.5V alkaline AA battery which you can carefully dismantle and rebuild into your prosthesis.
Do be careful; the capacitor stores 300-odd volts and really bites, and you need to insulate everything thoroughly; even the trigger circuit with your pushbutton.

I was actually thinking of using arduinos digital outputs.....like writing down a sketch which would blink them all at once
BTW thanks for the compliment ![]()
