Hi
I could not find any sketches for paint with 3.6 inch lcd tft and Arduino Mega 2560.
If anyone can help me to do it please, i will be appreciative.
Ty
Please. It's a gift from me to my little brother for his birthday. His birthday is next monday and i have to prepare this birthday gift until that day.
You really need to provide more information about the screen.
Mr. David Prentice (author of the MCUFRIEND_kbv library) gave me this shield as a gift. I can use this shield with arduino uno with this library. But as i said, i want to use it to painting and there is no sketch to do it.
It's ID is 0xB509
What do you want to do?
If you have a clear idea and can describe it, we can probably help you.
David.

Hi David
My dad bought an arduino mega2560 for me to build my brother's birthday gift. I want to make some painting screen for him. There is some sketch for painting on lcd tft shield in some libraries. But none of them worked.
Some of those painting skeches is this :
// Paint example specifically for the TFTLCD breakout board.
// If using the Arduino shield, use the tftpaint_shield.pde sketch instead!
// DOES NOT CURRENTLY WORK ON ARDUINO LEONARDO
#include <Adafruit_GFX.h> // Core graphics library
#include <Adafruit_TFTLCD.h> // Hardware-specific library
#include <TouchScreen.h>
#if defined(__SAM3X8E__)
#undef __FlashStringHelper::F(string_literal)
#define F(string_literal) string_literal
#endif
// When using the BREAKOUT BOARD only, use these 8 data lines to the LCD:
// For the Arduino Uno, Duemilanove, Diecimila, etc.:
// D0 connects to digital pin 8 (Notice these are
// D1 connects to digital pin 9 NOT in order!)
// D2 connects to digital pin 2
// D3 connects to digital pin 3
// D4 connects to digital pin 4
// D5 connects to digital pin 5
// D6 connects to digital pin 6
// D7 connects to digital pin 7
// For the Arduino Mega, use digital pins 22 through 29
// (on the 2-row header at the end of the board).
// D0 connects to digital pin 22
// D1 connects to digital pin 23
// D2 connects to digital pin 24
// D3 connects to digital pin 25
// D4 connects to digital pin 26
// D5 connects to digital pin 27
// D6 connects to digital pin 28
// D7 connects to digital pin 29
// For the Arduino Due, use digital pins 33 through 40
// (on the 2-row header at the end of the board).
// D0 connects to digital pin 33
// D1 connects to digital pin 34
// D2 connects to digital pin 35
// D3 connects to digital pin 36
// D4 connects to digital pin 37
// D5 connects to digital pin 38
// D6 connects to digital pin 39
// D7 connects to digital pin 40

And this video is an example of my idea :
The Adafruit_TFTLCD.h library should work on your ILI9341 display.
It will NOT work on your R61509 display.
The Touch_shield_kbv.ino from the MCUFRIEND_kbv library examples should work on both screens.
David.
If my lcd shield is R61509 display, so i want to use it with arduino mega 2560 to painting. Would you please help ?
None of those sketches about painting worked for my ILI9341 display

I do not know the ID of 3.6 display. Both screens only work with your library.
