help I have shot myself

Hey guys :slight_smile:

I am in charge of the physical computing part of my project and I feel like I have shot myself! :(:(:frowning:

I am supposed to construct a device that detects a person (I am using an ultrasonic sensor), and at the same time when that person is detected a clapping sound should activate, when the person leaves a certain area the servo should close and open a hatch and play a clapping sound clip for a few seconds.

I have tried the basic Arduino exercises but when it comes to creating something from scratch or merging a few together they don't make sense :frowning:

I would really appreciate some help

Well, show us what you want to put together.

This project uses a Sound Machine, a cheap sound effects player, to produce clapping noises, maybe you could use one of these.
