I recently bought a Chinese personal space air con unit. Needless to say it wasn't very good, and it quickly broke apart. I'm trying to improve on the design a bit, but I can't identify this component (attached images)
It came from the base of the water tank, and has some seals that i've removed, so I assume it's for regulating the amount of water that is dispensed, but I have no idea what to search to find a replacement.
Looks like some kind of sensor. Does it mechanically actuate? It could be a bi-metal temperature sensor. Though I don't know what it would be doing on a water tank. Or why an air conditioner unit has a water tank. (Is it to capture the condensed water?)
OK i'll take a guess... I'm leaning towards ultrasonic liquid level sensor. This looks incomplete because it looks like just the transducer for one... possibly
A signal of 1.5 MHz to 2 MHz is used to create the water mist. There must be not too much and not too little water above it, so I assume that there was some kind of mechanical way to do that.
ok it's been confirmed it is some sort of misting device since this machine humidifies the air with water from a reservoir.
❆【EASY TO USE】 : Simply pour the water into the tank, connect it to the USB port. Once switched on, the 750ml water produces humid air and it can operate for up to 8 hours. Mini size and portable is convenient for you to use anywhere
