Help identify plug

Anyone have an idea what type of plug this is? It's a 60 pin for a radio display im trying to extend.

What is the pitch, the space from pin to pin?

I'm not sure, I'll check it when I get home, wasn't sure if it was a standard connector. The ribbon on the back side is 60p 0.5 so I might just extend that

Looks like a SMT socket, not a plug. Where was the device made? If Asian, then you would likely need to find an Asian source since it could be custom. I do not see any key to stop the plug from being inserted backward, which points to custom design only for that radio device.

Does it bear the letters HRS anywhere? It looks like something that could be from Hirose.

The connector is a board-2-board type - i don't think you will find a variant that's mounted to a cable, so if you plan to extend this, you might need to make some custom PCB's yourself where the mating connector will solder to and then going to a cable assembly.

FWIW It looks like the connector between a laptop and its docking station.
