Help me decode this Motor Controller- JMP BE-3714

I found a motor controller that I'd like to use for to power my motor, and I need some help figuring out how to write code that would allow me to run it with an arduino.

Note: (1) depending on the voltage at which the motor connected to the output can withstand
(2) refers to the power supply through the drive board on the load output current

Fourth, note:
1, the drive board for a long time do not use, to disconnect the power, otherwise it will consume power.
2, the power supply positive and negative do not reverse, otherwise it will burn the drive board.
3, the power supply voltage to the plug motor module is limited subject. Such as: motor rated voltage of 12V, the power supply can not exceed 12V, otherwise it will damage the motor.

One thing I'm scratching my head over is that the arduino signal input (where I assume all the speed controls thru PWM and direction controls happen) has 6 pins. I understand there is black and red for ground and Vin. However, I have 0 clue with the 4 yellow wires. Why does this device need 4 signal specific pins? Any idea from the product page description?
