help me find beginner how-to pdf

Can someone help me find this great pdf that I used to have? It explained all the basic functions of the arduino, had about 12 or so individual projects, with the last few dealing with serial-parallel-shifting. I can't remember the name of the pdf or the company that made it to save my life. I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about. There was some code in one of the projects I wanted to reference, but I must have deleted my old copy of it.

I'm guessing you mean the earthshine design one, the arduino starter kit manual. Here: http://www.earthshinedesign.co.uk/ASKManual/Site/ASKManual.html

YYYYYEEESSSSSS. Thanks so much, you're a lifesaver!!

no problem, i just got through the last project on it. it's a good introduction to arduino.

Correct - that is BY FAR the best beginner "how to" manual for the Arduino around.

a great bit "THANK YOU" for the author Mike.

But be careful on some of the layouts he has for the shift register circuits; some of the wires are not where they should go... but you can easily figure it out. other than a few wires, it's a fantastic guide.
