Hello everyone, I know this is not right, but I want to ask for sincere help for my project. My situation is as follows: I live in Venezuela, where, as the world knows, there is an unstable economy, and the official salary is approximately $30 per month. This is not much, as it is mostly spent on food, and sometimes it's not enough. I am a fan of 3D printers and have gathered discarded motors to build one and start a small business. However, I can't afford to buy my Arduino, as it costs $70 here. I want to know if someone is willing to help me. I am not asking for a donation but a loan, as I like to earn the things I get. Or, if anyone is more generous, help me cover the cost (the cheapest one here costs $300, but recently I saw someone selling one for $100). I am attentive and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to the community. Thank you
I moved your topic to an appropriate forum category @katsumi16k.
In the future, please take some time to pick the forum category that best suits the subject of your topic. There is an "About the _____ category" topic at the top of each category that explains its purpose.
You wrote that Arduino (what board?) costs $70 and show the picture with Arduino Mega $30 price. The Mega is not a cheapest option, therefore another board such a Nano probably has a more adequate price.
when i say 70 i'm talking about the arduino mega, the ramps 1.4 shield and the drivers of course that's not counting the power supply but i didn't know that you could make a 3d printer with an arduino nano. how would your schematic be more or less?
Wow! I like it, but I would need some help and guidance as my current knowledge is not advanced. but it would be easier for me to get an arduino nano since it is $10 and a little easier to put together.
I will be making Pet filament at first and I would like to buy it as you see there is one on super sale at $130 and it comes with 1kg of white filament (I know business people wanting to make signs and that is what I want to tackle).
According to your previous messages, it is more than your salary for 4 months. Are you going to spent all your and your family money to this 3d printer project??? Or your intention to ask a next donation from the intermet?
Have you calculated the economic model of your business? To whom are you going to provide your printer services if filament costs $130 per kg, and people around you earn $30 a month?
