Hello my name is Chris,
I have to do a project for a class in my university (the class is Programming Applications for Electronic Enginners),
and i am really out of any idea. I need something that involves modbus and arduino.
The idea is to have a web application that controls an arduino board through modbus.
I can do the web application, i just have no idea of what to implement. It has to be a little more elaborate than turning a led on an off through modbus.
Can anyone please help me?
There are several threads about the modbus on this forum, you should read them to get inspired by the real modbus users.
What always work is to make an elevator with communication based upon modbus
Challenge yourself and make a multi elevator demo.
That sounds like a great idea, and i believe i can implement it, but i do not have the time nor the hardware to do this.
I could maybe do it theoretically with leds to tell what is working and random sensors to crunch data from.
Thank you very much though, this should get me started with something. I will also look around the forum for more ideas.
If you only want to use leds and some sensors make an intruder detection system ....
