HELP PLEASE- Arduino humidifier heating disc

I want to create a mini humidifier linked to my Arduino w/display screen and ultrasonic ceramic disc. The problem is, I've ordered a 20mm ultrasonic mist maker and it's here, but I have no idea on how to connect it with my Arduino.

The connection part is across from the push button. It's a kind of plugin that I don't have and am not sure where to get or how to use.

Here is the product description: 20mm 113KHz Ultrasonic Mist Maker Fogger Atomizer Ceramic Discs with Power Driver Board for Desktop Mini Humidifier

I've attached a photo with this post. If anyone knows anything about what I should do, I'd be very grateful for some help.

Thanks!

I don't see where the Arduino is necessary to make that item function.

.

I want to connect it to the Arduino so I can toggle when it turns on or off according to the temperature.

You'll need more than an Arduino for that.

.

Yeah, I also have a temp/humidity sensor.

If you don't have the capability of doing this project, you should post on the Gigs forum and pay someone to do this for you.

Ad says it runs on 12 volts DC. Do you have that? You need a relay or a MOSFET to switch the 12 volts. What do you have?

@ieee488 I'm new to Arduino and this is a project I want to do myself.

@Paul_KD7HB I don't think I have a 12v relay, only 5v. I'll probably have to get one. Do you know how I should connect one?

The relay is to switch the 12 volts. If your relay can close and open a circuit, then it will work. You will need a 5 volt supply for relay. Can't be powered by the Arduino, but can be controlled by the Arduino.

Thanks for the advice, Paul. Do you know anything about how I should add it to switch the voltage? Would it be on the breadboard to be connected to the Arduino and then passed to the disc?

Is it a "relay" or is a relay module/circuit board with a LED, optio-isolator and several places to connect wires?

Use a breadboard to make a prototype system. The low 12 volt current of the disc means it, too can be connected through the breadboard.

It's the relay by itself. Just a blue block with five pins on the bottom. I'll have to connect the other parts, if that's what I need.

An ultrasonic atomizer does not have a heating element, so measuring temp is not going to work.
Leo..

Yes, I know. I have a DHT11, which measures both. I will only be using the humidity data.
