i have a new arduino mega 2560 I compiled the example of hello world succesfully and when i tried to program the example to the bored i got this msg
i dont understand why...any suggestions?
it is an indication of a communication problem between the IDE and the board.
did you select the right serial port?
- what platform are you using windows/mac/linux ? version?
- what connection between board and PC?
It looks like you are trying to upload to COM1 - This is a reserved com port on most systems - is there another com port listed in your tools menu? if not, you may have not installed the correct drivers for the 2560.
