Help Please....

I need to build a program that will simulate a thermostat and furnace. The following will need to happen.... Thermostat calls for heat, will check to see if pressure contacts are open and if limit switch is closed if all is true it will start a motor. Once motor is running, pressure switch contacts close.. will power up 2 LED's. once happens another led will power and stay on for only 45 seconds. after 45 seconds a different (LED X) will come on. when the thermostat is happy and no longer calls for anything, everything will shut down but LED X will stay on for 100 seconds after shut down then shut off its self.

Write out the problem as a simple flowchart.

HOW CAN I PASTE MY WORD DOCUMENT ON HERE?

  1. Select All
  2. Control+C (or right-click>Copy)
  3. Control+V to forums (or right-click>Paste)
  4. Success

You might want read up on how real thermstats work to make sure you emulate it correctly. I looking into this in the past and was surprised by how they operated.

Hi...just use the ctrl+c and ctrl+v method to copy and paste your document.
I posted a link for whoever needed:

i KNOW HOW TO COPY AND PASTE.....
I HAVE FLOWCHART DRAWN IN WORD AND IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO SELECT AND COPY THE SHAPES.

I'M NOT CONCERNED AS TO HOW THE THEMOSTAT WORKS, I'M JUST GOING TO USE A SWITH TO SIMULATE IT. AND BESIDES I KNOW HOW THEY WORK ALREADY, I USED TO INSTALL THEM FOR A LIVING. THANKS ANYWAY THOUGH

It looks to me like your shift key is stuck down - could that be part of your problem?

Geeee thanx a lot for telling me that I had my caps lock on dousche....I didn't notice

Much more civilised in lower-case, instead of all that shouty nonsense, don't you think?

OK. What's the problem?
Have you tried any Arduino programming examples yet?
If so, how did you find them?
If not, why not?

The flowchart was for you, by the way, not us.

Help us to help you - we don't know what your experience is, apart from fitting 'stats.

I just want you to write the code for me, so I don't have to, thought someone might like the challenge.

:o

You're not Australian by any chance?

At least he/she is honest about it.

Plz send teh codez

It seems that all your codes are belong to us at the moment.

Seriously though - there are two problems with what your asking us to do

  1. The whole idea is that you do the work yourself, it's kind of the idea, and the forum isn't here to have everyone work on your code

  2. If someone is interested in helping you, you still haven't presented us with enough information about your project anyway, so how about we start there? If you want to show us your flowchart, save it as a pdf, and then upload it to a filehost
