I have been grinding through the various subjects and cannot find a suitable topic.
Here goes anyway.
I am returning to the forum after a while away. I have used R3s to do lots of super tricks.
Now I have discovered Nanos and have a great project for one.
I want to control a mini humidifier/ vaporiser/ mist maker via an analogue output pin. The voltage is the same at 5V, so the only issue is the pin I/0 is max 20ma and the vaporiser uses 300mA at 5V.
The amount of 'plume' can be varied by voltage 1-5V, hence I wish to do this via a Nano.
I am new to MOSFETs so advice on which one to use would be great please.
For those who wish to know I am using this to generate a 'steam' plume in a G scale model locomotive, varying the plume according to accel/ deceleration and synchro to the cylinders.
