[Help] Send simple data from a Xbee to another Xbee

I'm a beginner of Xbee. I just known config Xbee using X-CTU. How can i send simple data such as a character from a Xbee(Connected with an Ardunio) to another Xbee??? Please guide me thanks all so much !!!

What kind of XBees are they? How did you configure them? How are they attached to the Arduinos? Or, what are they attached to?

They are Xbee ZB

I used X-CTU to configure them. first Xbee I connected to Adrunio by Tx and Rx pin. And second Xbee connect to PC over USB cable. Sir how can i send and receive simple data ??? Thanks sir so much

what configurations did you put on them? if you have used AT instead of API then it's very easy.. It's like a serial communication! no need to any extra coding.
for more developed things, I recommend the book wireless sensor networks by Robert Faludi. very detailed and easy to follow.
