[HELP]Solar D1 Mini water level monitor

Hi there, i am building water tank level monitor

I need help in choosing transistor .resistor and solar panel as i don't have much knowledge of electronics.

here is schematic

2N2222 will work for transistor ?

resistors
180K 1/4 - Battery - A0
1k 1/4 - RST-D0
10k - Transistor-D2

ps - as its battery powered i want to keep it minimal

also please suggest solar panel suitable for this setup

-2W 6V 330mA
-3W 6V 600mA
-3.5W 6V 583mA
-4.5W 6V 520mAh

Which diode i should use with solar panel ? 1N4007 ?

D1 wakes up at every 1 hr ,takes reading from sensor and send data to mqtt then go back to deep sleep mode

Are you getting less than 1 hr sunlight a day?

Might even be able to skip the line level shifter with it.

I have held off on adding water level monitoring functionality to my aquariums simply because it seemed all the components available to do it the way I wanted would not hold up well in a humid environment. I didn't know those sensors even existed! Thank you for posting the link!

yes i am using same sensor its just that i didn't found it in fritzing

no no its available all day time, i am updating water level every one hour
no benefit of updating it more than that...

yes , i will try to make it more less as possible

but first i need to finish transistor and resistor part first , also have to order solar panel

2n2222 Transistor will be okay ?

A0 and battery is connected to measures battery voltage
Battery output is 3.7V-4.2V
A0 pin on D1 mini can handle max 3.3v
So 180K 1/4 watt will be good enough ?

RST and D0 is connected for deep sleep functionality
So 220-560 ohm 1/4 watt resistor is good or BAT43 diode ?

Transistor(NPN) and D2 is connected to control power supply of ultrasonic sensor
1k resistor is good or 10k 1/4watt ?
