Please post a link to the actual display that you have bought.
I suspect that it has a GalaxyCore GC9106 controller and not the Sitronics ST7735S that might be printed on the pcb.
Life would be so much simpler if people just posted links to their hardware.
Displays vary. Some vendors lie. Some vendors are just ignorant. But if we can see the actual pcb we can generally identify the display.
