Problem uploading to board.  See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

My board is selected as arduino uno and my port is setup as /dev/cu.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port
I think I'm supposed to have other ports as an option such as "usbmodem" or something

Will ask the obvious...Have you set the correct COM port in the IDE ?

Is it a clone or a true Arduino ?

Have you tried another cable ?

Or another computer ?

Or another USB port ?

If its a clone have you installed the correct drivers eg CH340 ?

Did you search the forum for "stk500_getsysnc"

There are lots of that error but here is a link to one that was solved.

Im not too sure about the first one, I'm on mac by the way

I think its a clone, I've had it lying around for a good few months

Yes, i tried a different cable, computer and usb port, same errors

Not too sure about drivers

Maybe I have a faulty 'duino?

Idioteque:

You'll want to Google that.
