Help to decide what board to buy

Hi,

I would like to buy an Arduino board to start a simple project and learn about this world. I need help to buy my first kit or board.

Let me explain what I need:

  • Lower consumption mode is a must - I need to reduce the consumption of the module setting sleep or other low consumption mode
  • Send data from my Arduino Board to a data base thru WiFi
  • Connect a tactil LCD (to read and write info)
  • Connect ultrasonic sensor
  • Connect a serial connector to send info to my computer

I don't know anything about "lower consumption".

If you want to do anything with Wifi, an module with an integrated ESP8266 IC would be best.

I have no personal experience but I know that in hindsight I want better integration than an Uno with ESP-01 module.
