Help to make AVRISP mkII working.

Hello,

I'm trying to use the avrispmkII to burn the bootloader or upload a sketch but it doesn't do it
the only thing I get is

Can't burn the bootloader or upload any sketch on UNO and Nano v3

Do you have the MKii driver installed?
Search for "avrisp2.inf" to locate the folder it is in.

yes, it's installed properly

When you program, is the Uno/Nano powered? The MKii does not provide power, it only monitors it.
Also, is it plugged on correctly? The Red wire goes on the Pin 1 end.

Yes, both are powered by external power (12V 2A for my UNO) and of course I know how to connect it properly just like I connect USBasp to burn the bootloader (wchich works properly). :slight_smile:

Hmm, I'm running out of ideas then. Possible you have a bad USB cable?

can't be it's the same cable which I use for my USB audio DAC for my RaspberryPi and DAC is working

And nothing else is connected to the SPI pins while you programming? Nothing driving the pins?
