Help troubleshooting generic Uno R3

So I bought a generic really cheap knockoff of a clone which was most likely itself a knockoff of a previous clone level of quality as knowing that this was its quality with the price reflecting as such, like $2.

It has issues with some of tge IDE versions, but not all of them.

Because of this I went and bought a proper high end board from my local store, it also is a compatible as there's not a single place for me to buy a official board that does not require also paying for shipping or waiting in the mail.

And what ends up happening was the Uno in this kit from the store had been discontinued as it is now being substituted for a generic one, but the packaging did not reflect this change so my $140 kit basically has the same board, it looks 100% identical in every way except for a very insignificant letter change on one of the capacitors.

However this board does not have any issues with any of the IDE as long as I pick ch 340 Arduino selection when available.

Because of this and an escalated complaint I was able to get a non generic board recent out tome.

So now I have three boards one that works 100% identical to every single official Arduino R3 tutorial write down to the software settings being directly in line with every single menu click the official does.

But the other board that was the first one I bought does work with the, IDE 1.x versions the app called maker, but does not work with the IDE 2.0 and does not work with Arduino Droid.

However the product description that buying this said it came with Wi-Fi but it obviously doesn't have the physical hardware for Wi-Fi, but when I pick the type of board from the official list many of the Wi-Fi/ Nano Mega 328 settings due register as valid, and will even upload as successful making the lights on the board blink as communication, but it appears like there's no actual data save to the board as not even the pin 13 Light will change function using these simple built-in blink sketch.

Also using an app called USB device info that I use the OTG cord for brings up the exact same data info info 100% identical screenshots when reading both of the generic boards.

So all this is the background Flash troubleshooting Clues I have noticed thus far.

What can I further due to find out why the one board is registering as an UNO R3 for some of the IDE application interface tools, but has issues with other versions of the IDE where the other one does not.

I realize that since it does work with select applications that can upload it is kind of a I needed, but I thought I would take this opportunity to get myself more aware and capable of the inner workings of this board, by getting introduce to any troubleshooting steps weather it's using additional software or just menu settings in the proper IDE that are just more not typically used for whatever reason.

The one thing I was told was it would be better just to either throw it away cuz it was so cheap or requested replacement, or two take the 328 off and reflash the bootloader.
But the chip is very very small square pin one surface mounted so I do not want to attempt reflashing of the bootloader.

Thank you for reading this lengthy block off details regarding the differences and what I'm hoping to learn from them instead of just saying it is what it is and buy new stuff as a now I know better from experience standpoint.
