help updating OpenWrt software on Yun

Hi,

I am trying to update the software on the Yun but can't seem to get the Yun to detect the SD card. The
instructions in the tutorial says that a notification should appear on the web panel but I am not getting
the web notification. It seems that the Yun is not mounting the SD card. I have tried the following:

  • I have tried SSHing into the Yun and running dmesg but the the last message only shows "wlan0: associated" and
    nothing related to the sd card

  • formatting the card per the instructions at Arduino SD — FAT16 — OSX at hex705

  • rebooting the Yun with the card inserted, inserting the card after boot.. etc

  • "df -h " command does not show anything related to the sd card

The card I am tying to use is a Kingston Kingston 8 GB microSDHC Class 4 card. Thanks in advance

Does your sd card work on your pc?
Can you try another sd card?

Hi,

Finally got it working. It appears one the contacts that senses when the sd is card is inserted was slightly out
of position and formed a closed circuit with the ground.
