I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to upload this code to 7 pin SPI oled but it doesn't work. It's just black still. The buttons work and sound work but not screen. I know it can't be the screen's fault because I tryed all of them. It's not the board either. Not wireing probably not. Most likely the code or something i dont know HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are in control of the information.
We need the code, how you have wired the screen, and a link to the library you are using.
ID-34-Mystic-Balloon-master.zip (303.8 KB) GitHub - MrBlinky/Arduboy-homemade-package: Arduino IDE board package for Arduboy and homemade versions making things easy I used pro micro alternate wireing.
The library is all of the librarys that there is when you search Arduboy
Nobody here is going to open a ZIP file.
Why not? There are multiple files so I have to put it in a Zip. It's not just an ino.
Most of us have been around long enough to know not to open up a Zip file from an unknown source.
Why I shall do your work?
Hi,
What is your SPI OLED?
Please post links to specs/data.
What library are you using?
Have you tried the examples in the library to make sure your OLED display connections are okay.
The OTHER displays, did they come from the same supplier?
Various OLED displays have not one but many choices of driver ICs on board.
You many need to identify the drive type.
Your library may have a parameter that needs to know the drive IC set so it can configure your data for the screen.
Tom...
Even worse when the title contains the words "Help!" and "urgent".
I think what others are suggesting is that you really need to produce a minimum reproducible example of code that shows the problem, and post it directly on the forum. Sure, we all have AV software and will scan any zip, but it just makes it a lot more work than reading your code on the screen and looking for typos and the like.
I disagree. If you have multiple files in a project it is wise to put them all into one ZIP.
Forums have plenty of storage space. It is much better to attach the whole project than to do dribs and drabs. Especially if you are editing some of the earlier files during the extended message postings.
Hey-Ho. I have other things to do. It is the “Help!” and “urgent” that discourages readers.
David.
Hi,
How many files does you code have?
If all you are doing is displaying an OLED, just give us the single .ino file that displays this problem.
You are using a library, but we can or have already in our IDE the library you use.
So please a simple code that displays the fault.
Then put it in your next post.
Tom...
