Hello everyone. I am ranger, a very new person to the world of arduino. I have a pretty good understanding of the basics and I thought it would be fun to get an e-paper display. Its a 2.9 inch e-paper display from waveshare bought from amazon. I have spent a lot of time just trying to run the sample code and still cannot figure it out. I am using the arduino MEGA-2560 and have got no luck. I have even tried using arduino UNO Rev3. I still dont know what to do. help is greatly appreciated.
Look on Waveshare site:
alredy did.
Hi Ranger, what exactly is the screen doing? Any signs of life, or just nothing at all?
Perhaps if you post some photos of your wiring, and the sample code you're running, it would give everyone here a start-point to investigate your issue.
Best of luck!
Hi,
Could you please post if you could solve your issue?
We never found out what his issue was. If you have an issue start a new thread with a detailed description of it including schematic, code in tags and component links and people will hopefully be able to help you
We neither know what the issue of the Original Poster was, nor what your issue is.
There is a library available through Arduino Library Manager for SPI e-paper displays.
See README.md of library GxEPD2.

I started a new thread with my problem. Could you please help?
Your thread is in the wrong section, and you should state if anybody or someone specific should try to help you. In general, I only help with use of my libraries.
