Help with a 4x4 keypad

I am using a 4X4 keypad on my project, it started working well, but after 2 or 3 minutes, when no key is pressed it still shows a random keypress on the LCD or the keypad freezes and I have to unplug and plug the electrical box again.
I suspect it may be the keypad wires. I used 3 foot long wires for the keypad, I don't know if that can be an issue. Has anyone faced a similar issue with this keypad?

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the post at the start of any forum , entitled "How to use this Forum".
OR

Then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

It is possible that the long wires are causing your problem.

I have let the moderators know that your post will be worth starting a new thread.

Hi,
It also looks like you are using the same cable to run the digital signals to an LCD display.
Have you tried separate cables for the two items?
I also see the wires being routed around the servo drives, these produce a lot of electrical noise.
So try placing them away from power supplies and drive modules.

I think for something like this, we deserve a FULL circuit diagram and not a Fritzy image.
Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

PS. What does this controller do?
